The Patient Story video interview: “How are you living your best life?”

This summer I was contacted by a friendly and engaging woman who had seen my postings on a closed Facebook group for those of us with blood cancers and disorders. She asked if we could talk about my story and diagnosis as she and her husband were gathering stories for a website intended to support people going through treatments or needing encouragement and support.

That brought me to a zoom call with Andrew and Esther Schorr of CA. Andrew has been experiencing cancer issues for several years and Esther has been his devoted partner and caregiver. They interviewed me and created this fabulous video and transcript for their Patient Story site.

I’m grateful to be part of their community knowing that our goal is to help others and offer encouragement and support. So sharing the video they created—I hope it’s helpful and interesting!

You can visit their site and read other stories shared that focus on specific cancer types. It’s inspirational and informative, offering insights from patients, survivors and care givers— you will come away feeling more positive about our collective human spirit than before!
